When Chen Mingyuan was eight years old, He was born in Heze, Shandong Province, the hometown of art. He had an extraordinary talent and a strong ability to comprehend dough sculpture art since childhood. I carried on the family training and studied hard, combined with the five years' study experience in the sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts after my academic success, and carried on the bold inheritance and innovation of dough sculpture skills, integrating Chinese and foreign sculpture skills into dough sculpture. The folk skills glow with new artistic glory, in the creation of subject matter, material selection, color matching, shape and composition design, artistic conception pursuit elements, Mingyuan surface sculptures are different from other factions, formed their own unique style, works are widely respected.
Dough sculpture has a history of more than two thousand years and is known as the living fossil of Chinese sculpture. Since it is Chinese sculpture, it embodies its unique national characteristics in terms of techniques and works. The road of dough sculpture is also the road of my heart cultivation. Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are the core of Chinese culture, and the subject matter of my works is also based on this.
“Han Xizai’s Night Banquet”
Han Xizai's Banquet is one of the ten most famous paintings handed down in China. "Xuanhe Painting Notation" records that Li Yu, the later ruler of the Southern Tang Dynasty, wanted to reuse Han Xizai, and heard that Han Xizai indulgedsensual all day long, so he sent court painters Gu Hongzhong and Zhou Wenqi to enter the Han Palace in the name of the guest, and painted down the scene of entertainment at that time.
The whole painting is divided into five scenes, and the one shaped this time is "Qing Blowing". Among them Han Xizai undressing tray sitting on the zen chair, look calm, the world is complicated, only at this moment can be calm and forget worry. The shape of this group of works is accurate and subtle, the lines are fine and smooth, and the colors are gorgeous and elegant. The beautiful woman's plain makeup clothes and the male guest's blue and black clothes form a sharp contrast, which is gorgeous and presents an elegant style. The Eight Immortals
It is the most widely spread eight immortals in Chinese Taoism, and this set of works is in a group of two, which corroborates each other with the "Proverbs" behind, and interprets the transcendent mood of Taoist practice.
“The first group is Lv Dongbin and Han Zhongli”
